The entry system is the real hazard, not the parking
I have walked a lot of guests into a lot of buildings. Intuit Dome is the first major arena I have dealt with where the most common way to ruin your own evening has nothing to do with traffic. It is arriving at the gate with a group of four and one phone.
The building was designed to be fully cashless and ticketless, with biometric entry, according to its own builder (Turner Construction). In practice that means:
- There is no traditional box office. Tickets are bought online through Ticketmaster or inside the app, and they appear in the app no later than two weeks before the event (Intuit Dome FAQ).
- No barcode is used at all. You enter either with GameFace ID, an opt-in selfie-based facial match, or with an Identity Pass saved to Apple or Google Wallet (Know Before You Go).
- At the Main Entrance, GameFace lanes are on the left and Identity Pass lanes on the right. Sort your group out before you reach the doors (Know Before You Go).
- Every attendee needs their own account. If you bought four tickets, you must "Transfer" (permanent) or "Assign" (reclaimable) one to each guest (Know Before You Go).
One genuinely reassuring detail
Identity Pass works without cellular signal, because the pass lives on the device rather than being fetched. Apple's power reserve keeps it working for up to five hours on a phone that has otherwise died (Intuit Dome FAQ). If you are travelling with people who are nervous about phone battery or crowded-venue data, Identity Pass is the more robust of the two options.
Has it failed? Yes, publicly
On opening night, 15 August 2024, the app and facial-recognition entry system buckled. Thousands of fans were stuck outside and the 8 p.m. Bruno Mars show did not begin until roughly 9:40 p.m. (Los Angeles Times; CBS Los Angeles). That was two years ago and an opening night, so it is not a fair description of a normal event today. But it is the reason the practical advice below is what it is: set the app up at home, days early, not in the car.
Parking: three garages, and they are not interchangeable
A lot of third-party parking guides for this arena invent lot names, "Structure 1", "Structure 2", lettered lots, that do not exist. Intuit Dome's own parking page lists exactly three entrances, and they are named garages (Intuit Dome). If a site is selling you a lot letter, it is not describing this building.

What it costs, and why nobody can quote you a number
Intuit Dome does not publish a fixed parking price. Its official line is that "parking fees may vary based on each event" (Intuit Dome). Any guide quoting you a single confident figure is guessing. What can be said honestly:
- Live marketplace listings for Intuit Dome parking, checked on 3 September 2026, ran from about $35 to $60 depending on the event (SeatGeek).
- A parking-industry guide reports face rates of roughly $56 Standard East, $68 VIP West and $165 Players', with resale for ordinary regular-season games often below face (ParkingAccess). That is third-party reporting, not an official rate card.
- The official advance-purchase channel linked from Intuit Dome's own parking page is JustPark (JustPark). Buy there and you are buying from the venue's designated vendor.
Three details worth two minutes of your time
- Register your licence plate in the app. The garages use automatic plate recognition, "Zoom Thru", and you set it up under My Profile > My Vehicles (Intuit Dome). Do it at home. The lane you want moves fast only if you did.
- Height limit is 8' 2". Relevant for anyone in a van, a roof box, or a lifted truck (JustPark).
- EV charging exists in all three garages, first come first served (Intuit Dome FAQ). Counts conflict: the Clippers' fact sheet says more than 300 on site (LA Clippers fact sheet, PDF), JustPark says over 400. Don't plan your range around a charger being free.
Street parking: genuinely not an option here
Inglewood runs a Citywide Residential Permit Parking Program under which "all residential streets within the City limits will be designated as permit parking", with restrictions described as full-time, Monday through Sunday (City of Inglewood). The programme was created specifically to stop event crowds from filling residential blocks, and it is enforced with fines and towing (NBC Los Angeles). Enforcement varies by district and by what the sign on the block says, the city notes it is enforced only where permit signs are posted, but the working assumption for a visitor should be: if it is residential, it is not for you.
Driving in, and the part nobody warns you about: driving out
Intuit Dome publishes four approaches (Intuit Dome): from the north, I-405 S to exit 45 for Century Blvd; from the east, I-105 W to the Prairie Ave exit; from the south, I-110 N to I-105 W then Prairie; from the west, I-10 E to I-405 S and exit 45. The venue also says outright that it "highly encourages using Waze" for live closures (Intuit Dome). When a building tells you to use a third-party traffic app to find its own front door, take the hint.
This is a district, not a standalone arena. SoFi Stadium, YouTube Theater and the Kia Forum are all within about a mile. On heavy nights the City of Inglewood advises everyone not attending to avoid Prairie Avenue, Century Blvd and Manchester Blvd entirely during pre- and post-event hours (ABC7). Local business owners describe Prairie Avenue as effectively blocked off on big event days (USC Annenberg Media).
Egress
I am not going to give you a number, because there isn't a credible published one. No official or news-reported egress figure specific to Intuit Dome could be found. What exists is fan reporting: one detailed write-up describes reaching the freeway in roughly 10 minutes from the Players' Garage and 15 from the first floor of the West Garage, while people parked on the upper levels of the West Garage reported 30 to 40 minutes just to get out of the structure (r/LAClippers). Treat that as anecdote. The transferable lesson is not the minutes, it is that your level within the garage matters as much as which garage you chose. Arrive early enough to park low.
Getting there without a car
Metro, with one caveat that matters enormously for concerts
Metro's own instruction is: ride the C or K Line, exit at Hawthorne/Lennox, Downtown Inglewood or LAX/Metro Transit Center, and take the free Metro Shuttle to the arena. Shuttles run every 20 minutes starting two hours before, and every 10 minutes for an hour afterwards. The shuttle is free and needs no TAP card; rail fare is $1.75 each way (Metro). Load your return fare before the event, Metro says so itself, and the queue at the fare machines afterwards is real.
And do not plan to walk from the station. Metro routes riders onto a shuttle rather than presenting a walk, and the straight-line distance from Downtown Inglewood station to the arena is roughly 1.6 miles by the two locations' published coordinates. Third-party guides claiming a 0.4-mile, 8-minute walk are not consistent with those coordinates.
The venue's own free shuttles, the underrated option
Intuit Dome runs a free micro-transit shuttle on an all-electric fleet with more than 100 pickup points inside a 6-mile radius, plus a free Regional Park & Ride from Woodland Hills (Pierce College), West LA (Expo/Sepulveda), the South Bay (Harbor Gateway), the San Gabriel Valley (El Monte), Union Station and Norwalk for select events. Everything must be reserved in advance, Regional Park & Ride up to 30 days out, micro-shuttles up to 7 days out. Pickups start two hours before, and post-event pickup begins at the East Garage 30 minutes after the event ends (Intuit Dome Transportation Options).
That 6-mile radius is the point most visitors miss: it reaches the LAX hotel corridor, Westchester and much of Culver City. If you are staying in any of those, the free shuttle is very likely a better answer than a $50 parking pass or surge rideshare, provided you book it.
Rideshare
One location, and only one: the Mobility Hub on level 1 of the Standard East Garage, 3665 W 102nd St. The venue's wording is unambiguous, "this is the only location around the property where rideshare will be permitted" (Intuit Dome FAQ). It also handles LA Yellow Cabs and a family pickup zone (Transportation Options). Set your pin there when you book, not at the arena address, or your driver will be turned away by traffic control.
One inconsistency to be aware of: Intuit Dome's own pages give two different addresses for the East Garage, 3665 W 102nd St on the parking pages, and a Century Blvd address in some shuttle FAQ answers. Use the 102nd Street address for driving and for your rideshare pin.
Buses
Metro lists three routes to the area: Line 115 to Manchester/Kareem, Line 117 to Prairie/Century, and Line 212 to Prairie/Kelso (Metro).
What is actually around the building
The single most useful orientation fact, and the one most guides get wrong: Intuit Dome is not inside the Hollywood Park retail district. It sits across Century Boulevard from it (Urbanize LA). Hollywood Park is the nearly 300-acre mixed-use development built around SoFi Stadium, with the retail core, the Shops at Hollywood Park, at Prairie Avenue and Century Boulevard (SoFi Stadium / Hollywood Park). So the good pre-event food and drink is a walk across a very busy boulevard, not a stroll through a plaza.
Genuinely walkable from the arena:
- The Shops at Hollywood Park at Prairie and Century, including The Meeting Spot at 1231 District Drive (The Meeting Spot).
- Cosm Los Angeles, 1252 District Drive, an immersive venue built around an 87-foot dome display, with reserved booths in The Dome and ticketed entry (Cosm). It is about a 6-minute walk from the Century/Prairie bus stop (Cosm Help Center).
- Cinépolis Luxury Cinemas Inglewood IMAX, whose indoor/outdoor bar and restaurant is explicitly open to non-moviegoers heading to the venues (Cinépolis).
- Hollywood Park Casino, 3883 W Century Blvd (Hollywood Park), and over 25 acres of parks including the 11-acre Lake Park (Studio-MLA).
Downtown Inglewood is a mile away, and it is honest to say it is quiet
Market Street has been Inglewood's central shopping district since 1908 (Discover Los Angeles), and it holds several long-running institutions. But in March 2026 the Los Angeles Times described the corridor, a mile from SoFi Stadium, as "eerily quiet", marked by "shuttered storefronts and boarded-up buildings", and noted that "on most nights, Inglewood's downtown is subdued and inactive". The same report covered the closure of the coffee shop Sip & Sonder in December 2025 and the impending closure of the vegan restaurant Stuff I Eat (Los Angeles Times).
There is real money going in: the city's Destination Market Street programme is an $8.5 million state-funded effort with grants of up to $250,000 to 35 initially selected businesses (The LA Local). Treat downtown as a deliberate destination for a good meal, a short rideshare or a K Line stop, rather than a place to wander after a show.
Where to eat
Across Century, before the doors open
The Shops at Hollywood Park is the practical answer for most people: The Meeting Spot, the Cinépolis bar, Cosm if you want the evening to start with a spectacle, and Sky's Gourmet Tacos. Several more restaurants, Raising Cane's, The Melt, Panini Kabob Grill, Lan Noodle and Rhythm Bar and Lounge, were announced as signed leases in May 2025 (SoFi Stadium / Hollywood Park). Confirm they are open before you build a plan around them, announced leases are not open doors.
Worth the detour, if you have the time
These are the places that make Inglewood worth eating in rather than eating near. All are drawn from the Los Angeles Times' Inglewood-area guide unless noted.
- Coni'Seafood, 3544 W Imperial Hwy, Acaponeta, Nayarit-style Mexican seafood from Chente Cossio's family recipes; open Mon–Thu 10–8, Fri–Sun 11–9 (Coni'Seafood).
- The Serving Spoon, Southern, founded 1983; a wait is customary on Sundays after church, and it occasionally stays open late for stadium concerts (Los Angeles Times).
- Dulan's Soul Food Kitchen, 202 E Manchester Blvd, a community staple for 25 years, and one of the Destination Market Street grant recipients (The LA Local).
- Woody's Bar-B-Que, 475 S Market St, serving Los Angeles since 1975; hours Mon 11–8, Tue–Sat 11–9, Sun 11–6 (Woody's).
- Phillips Bar-B-Que, takeout only, off Centinela; the last remaining location after the 2024 closure of the Crenshaw shop (Los Angeles Times).
- Randy's Donuts, the original 1953 landmark on Manchester Blvd, a 7-minute walk from Westchester/Veterans station (Los Angeles Times).
- Mr. Fries Man (Inglewood), open until 3 a.m., which is the entire reason it is on this list (Los Angeles Times).
- Six Seven Five Lounge, on La Brea, live jazz and R&B nightly, and a casually elegant dress code is enforced. Takes reservations (Los Angeles Times).
A reservations warning, because it is the kind of thing that ruins a schedule: for most Inglewood restaurants, no source states whether reservations are accepted. The confirmed ones are Cosm (booth and table bookings, ticketed entry), plus Six Seven Five Lounge and Somerville via the LA Times listings. Everything else should be treated as walk-in until you have phoned.
If you are not leaving the building: Intuit Dome runs "Neighborwood Eats", a rotating lineup of local Inglewood restaurants, plus Modelo Cantina in the Plaza near the Main Entrance and 21 marketplaces made in-house by 310 Provisions (Intuit Dome).
Where to stay
Here is the blunt structural fact about this venue: there is essentially one walkable hotel. The Anthem Los Angeles Stadium District, a Tapestry Collection property at 3900 W Century Blvd, is listed by Hilton at 0.10 miles from Intuit Dome (Hilton). Hollywood Park's master plan includes a future 300-room hotel, and two further hotels near the arena have been reported as expected, but the walkable cluster today is effectively a single building (Urbanize LA).
Which means the real decision is not "which hotel" but "which cluster, and how am I getting from it to the gate". The deepest inventory by a wide margin is the LAX / Century Blvd corridor at roughly 3 to 3.5 miles, Hilton alone lists 13 properties in its Inglewood-area results (Hilton). Those hotels almost all run free 24-hour LAX shuttles; almost none of them run shuttles to the arena.
That gap is exactly where the venue's free RideCo micro-transit becomes the deciding factor, because its 6-mile pickup radius covers the whole corridor (Intuit Dome). Once you are through the gate, the things that will affect your evening:
Bags and prohibited items
Only personal clutches, clear or opaque, no larger than 10" × 6" × 2", with a medical and childcare exception up to 14" × 14" × 6" that must go through an X-ray machine. Everything within the size limit is still screened (Intuit Dome FAQ). Note that this is not the NFL-style clear-bag-only rule people assume from SoFi next door.
Banned items worth flagging because people bring them anyway: professional cameras with detachable lenses, GoPros and other recording devices, smart glasses including Ray-Ban Meta and Oakley Meta AI, selfie sticks and tripods, umbrellas, outside beverages, and banners larger than 11" × 17". The entire property is smoke-free including vaping, and smoking inside means ejection. An empty refillable bottle under a quart is encouraged for the refill stations (Intuit Dome FAQ).
Doors
The venue's own pages conflict: Know Before You Go says doors open 90 minutes before basketball tip-off, while the FAQ says 60 minutes before general events (Know Before You Go; FAQ). Concert door times vary by show. Check your event page. Parking garages open about four hours before showtime either way.
Re-entry: I could not find a published policy anywhere, official or otherwise. Rather than guess, assume you cannot leave and return, and ask an Arena Host on arrival if it matters to you.
Accessibility
- Accessible parking is available to guests who purchase parking, first come first served; no dedicated lot, count or price is published.

- Free assisted listening devices, sensory bags, a Kaiser Permanente Sensory Room, complimentary wheelchair escorts and OneCourt devices for visually impaired fans are available at the Answers Portals (Main 6 and Terrace 18).
- Guests using GameFace ID can use the lane nearest the Answers Portal; Identity Pass users can enter through the Answers Portal itself.

The things it is genuinely famous for
The Wall, 51 uninterrupted rows behind the visiting bench, no suites, 4,500 seats, Clippers fans only, modelled on Borussia Dortmund's Yellow Wall. Wear opposing colours there and you lose the section. Its first 13 rows are "The Swell", roughly 300 standing-only fans on a non-transferable season-ticket pass (Wikipedia; ESPN).
The Halo Board, a 38,375 sq ft double-sided halo display, 4K, built by Daktronics, using more than 233 million LEDs, hung from the trusses so the 27-foot screens sit at eye level from the upper bowl (LA Clippers fact sheet, PDF).
Restrooms, more than 120, with over 1,100 touchless fixtures and a people-per-fixture ratio the Clippers describe as almost half the arena average (LA Clippers fact sheet, PDF). It sounds like trivia. At a sold-out show it is the single best-designed thing in the building.
After the show
The last hour of the night is the one nobody plans for, and it is where most of the complaints about this venue actually come from. Three things worth deciding before the encore.
Getting out
Attendee reports split sharply by where you parked. People who used the garage connected to the pedestrian bridge describe a single exit that flows; people in the main structures describe the facility as "quite chaotic". One attendee who left immediately after the final song called exiting "quite straightforward", and said the pre-event traffic was the worse half of the trip.
The Park & Ride return leg is reported to run faster than the outbound one, taking under half the time of the inbound trip in one first-hand account. On the Metro side, a rider who tried to leave by K Line reported the arrival board saying five minutes while the train took about twenty, and bailed to a rideshare mid-route.
The one safety rule. The best-voted local answer on this topic is blunt: after a show the rideshare wait is long, so drivers "working off the clock" will offer you a ride, and arranging the ride through the app is what protects you. Take the wait. Use the Mobility Hub.
Late food and a drink
Hollywood Park Casino sits a couple of blocks away and attendees describe it as open around the clock, which makes it the default late option on this side of Century. Cosm and the bar at Cinepolis are the other two walkable rooms, both listed with addresses in the eating section above. Beyond that the honest answer is the one attendees keep giving each other: the immediate area is thin on late-night food, and Downtown Inglewood a mile north is quiet after events.
Merchandise, and where to buy it
Merch lines inside get long, and attendees repeatedly advise buying early rather than at the final whistle. The flagship store can also be entered directly from the street according to one attendee, which skips the main security queue.
If you would rather buy afterwards, the official team shop is Shop Clippers. We do not sell merchandise and we earn nothing from that link. For a touring act, buy from the artist's own store rather than a marketplace listing, because unofficial event merchandise is where counterfeits concentrate.
Questions people actually ask
These are the questions being asked in public about this venue, taken from event threads on Reddit and from TripAdvisor reviews, answered against the venue's own published rules where those exist. Where the venue publishes nothing, that is stated rather than guessed.
How much is parking at Intuit Dome?
There is no single published price. Rates move with the event, so the venue does not quote one. Third-party listings for the three official garages have shown $56 for Standard East, $68 for VIP West and $165 for Players'. Attendees report paying anywhere from about $51 to $70 on the night, and one reported $68 for a September concert. Buying in advance through the venue's app is consistently reported as cheaper than buying at the gate.
Is there cheaper parking near Intuit Dome?
Yes, and it is the single biggest saving available to you. Attendees repeatedly report booking third-party lots through ParkWhiz or SpotHero for roughly $15 to $25 within a five to seven minute walk, with the PS-2 and PS-3 structures named most often. The Hollywood Park Casino lot has been reported at $25. Two caveats: those prices spike when SoFi Stadium has an event the same night, and a cheap lot next to the arena can still trap you in the same egress traffic.
Can I park on the street near Intuit Dome?
No. The residential blocks behind the arena are permit-only and Inglewood enforces them on event nights. Local answers are unusually consistent on this: expect a ticket or a tow. Residents do sell driveway spaces for roughly $20 to $35, which is a private arrangement with no recourse if something goes wrong.
Do I need the Intuit Dome app to get in?
Yes. The venue states you must download the app and create an account to access your tickets and the venue, and that every attendee needs their own account and ticket on their own phone. You cannot scan a group in from one device. Set every account up before you travel, because signal outside the building is unreliable.
Is GameFace ID required?
No. GameFace ID is optional. Entry requires either GameFace ID saved to your profile or an Identity Pass saved to your phone, per the venue's own Know Before You Go page. In practice the GameFace lane moves faster. Attendees also report misreads: one described the scanner resolving his wife's face to other people's names and a charge for an item they never took. Check your app receipts before you leave the building.
What if someone in my group has no smartphone?
The venue's answer is Teammate accounts, intended for under-13s and anyone who needs assistance, set up in the app before you arrive. Guests arriving without a workable phone are directed to an Answers Portal for a wearable pass. Attendees with phones too old to run the app have reported the venue advising them to create a second account on a compatible phone and log in and out. Sort this days ahead, not in the queue.
Can I bring a bag into Intuit Dome?
Only a small clutch, maximum 10" x 6" x 2". Attendees report that clear bags are not automatically exempt from that size limit and that oversized bags cost $10 to check. Enforcement is described as inconsistent by some attendees, which is not a reason to gamble on it.
Is Intuit Dome cashless?
Yes, fully. Bring a tappable card or phone wallet. Attendees report card swiping is not accepted at general vendors and that tap payment is the working method. Facial recognition is not required to buy food.
How do I get to Intuit Dome without a car?
The venue's free Park & Ride shuttles from regional lots are the best-reviewed option, but they must be booked in advance in the app and one attendee reported the outbound leg taking about an hour and fifteen minutes, with a three to five minute walk from the Mobility Hub. You cannot book on the day. Metro is possible but no rail station is walkable: riders report roughly two hours door to door with infrequent connecting buses. Metro connector shuttles from the K Line are stated by the venue to run for Clippers home games, not for every event, so confirm before relying on one for a concert.
Where does Uber pick up at Intuit Dome?
The Mobility Hub on level 1 of the Standard East Garage, 3665 W 102nd St. It is the only permitted rideshare point on the property, and it also serves taxis, family pickup and the shuttles. Set your pin to the Mobility Hub, not to Intuit Dome. Attendees describe drop-off as organised and post-event pickup as chaotic.
What hotel is closest to Intuit Dome?
The Anthem, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, at 0.10 miles, is the only genuinely walkable hotel. Attendees quote rates around $101 after fees on non-event nights with roughly $50 a day for parking on top. How early should I arrive?
Garages open roughly four hours before the event and doors generally open about an hour before start. The planning rule attendees give each other is to decide what time you want to be in the entry line, then subtract an hour for parking and shuttle logistics. Worst reported entry queue on a busy night was about 35 minutes; one attendee who arrived an hour before an 8pm show did everything unhurried in 30 minutes.
Is the area around Intuit Dome safe?
Locals answering visitors' questions describe normal urban situational awareness as sufficient, and the walk to the Century Boulevard retail as fine. The specific risk they flag is not the neighbourhood, it is the post-event rideshare wait tempting people into unlicensed off-app drivers. Don't. Solo attendees walking back to nearby hotels are advised to team up in the hotel lobby.
Can I re-enter Intuit Dome after leaving?
We could not verify this. Intuit Dome does not publish a re-entry policy in its Know Before You Go or A to Z guide, and we are not going to invent one. Assume no re-entry and ask an Answers Portal on the night if it matters to your plan.
Is there anywhere to eat near Intuit Dome?
Less than you would expect for a new arena. Attendees repeatedly call the immediate area a food desert. The realistic walkable options are across Century at the Shops at Hollywood Park, plus Cosm and the Cinepolis bar. Small popular restaurants in Inglewood report hour-plus waits on event nights, so book or eat well before doors.
What I couldn't verify
Listing the gaps is more useful than filling them with guesses, so:
- Capacity. The venue's booking page says up to 18,500, its About page says 18,000, the Clippers' fact sheet says 17,700+, and Wikipedia's infobox says 18,300. All are cited above. There is no single correct figure.
- Parking prices. No official rate card exists. Everything quoted here is either a live marketplace listing or third-party reporting, and is labelled as such.
- Number of parking spaces. No official figure. Third-party sources report roughly 4,900 spaces across the three structures with over 4,000 sold publicly (ParkingAccess).
- Walking times from garage to gate. Not published by the venue. The one structural fact that is documented is the VIP West pedestrian bridge.
- Egress times. No official or news figure. Only fan accounts.
- Re-entry policy. Not published anywhere I could find.
