Terms of use
By using theeventtrip.com you accept the terms below. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
1. What this site is
The Event Trip publishes editorial travel and logistics guidance about event venues. It is information and opinion. It is not a booking agent, a travel agency, a ticket seller, a parking operator or a seller of travel, and it does not take reservations or handle payments.
2. Accuracy, and its limits
Every factual claim on this site is sourced to a published source and dated where the date matters. Even so, prices, parking rates, entry policies, bag rules, shuttle schedules, transit service, opening hours and business openings and closures change constantly, and often without notice. Always confirm directly with the venue, hotel, transit agency or operator before you travel or spend money. Where a figure is anecdotal, third-party reported or unverified, the page says so; treat it accordingly.
3. No warranty
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or current.
4. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Event Trip and its publisher are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, bookings, tickets, parking fees, missed events or travel costs, arising out of your use of or reliance on this site or on any third-party site linked from it. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
5. Third-party sites
This site links to many third-party sites, including venues, hotels, transit agencies, news publishers and booking platforms. Those sites are not under our control. We do not endorse, and are not responsible for, their content, policies, pricing, availability or practices. Once you follow an outbound link, that site's own terms and privacy policy apply, not ours.
6. Affiliate relationships
Some outbound links are affiliate links and may earn this site a commission at no extra cost to you. This is disclosed on the page, in the footer of every page, and in detail on the affiliate disclosure page.
7. Trademarks
Venue names, team names, hotel brands, event names and other marks referenced on this site are the trademarks of their respective owners and are used solely for identification, reference and editorial commentary. The Event Trip is not affiliated with, endorsed by, licensed by, or sponsored by any of them.
8. Copyright and permitted use
The written guides, research, maps, data compilations, code and design on this site are the copyright of The Event Trip unless otherwise credited. Base-map tiles and geographic data are © OpenStreetMap contributors, served by OpenFreeMap. You may quote short extracts with a visible credit and a link to the page quoted. Republishing pages in whole or in substantial part, or using this content to train a commercial model, requires written permission.
9. Corrections
If something here is wrong, we want to fix it. Email editor@theeventtrip.com with the page and the correction, and ideally a source. Substantive corrections are made to the page and dated.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder stays in force.
11. Changes
These terms may be updated. The date at the top reflects the current version, and continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of it.
